I hope she breaks your heart,
I hope she makes you cry,
I’d love to see your heart shatter
A million and one times.
When you call her stupid,
When you say she’s easy to replace,
I hope she’ll pull a card,
And reverse it on you every which way.
You know, I used to be just like her, and
Hearing it through paper thin walls
Reminds me of being in the room
Playing her part:
The girl who’s at fault for it all.
It stings to write that line out.
Honestly, I cannot wait until she runs,
You’ll be sorry
Once it’s said and done.
I hope it hurts
Like a thousand glass shards
Just like all those careless words
Stung her heart.
Because when you see yourself in hazel eyes
And know the pain they hide,
It’s hard to sit still,
Listen to it all happen,
And pretend it’s no big deal.
