Pink Camellia

Your presence dismisses the words in my head,

Structures of sentences I can’t comprehend,

My hesitance flirts with oppressive dread,

At the thought of what the future intends-

I long to hear your impressions of me,

While memorizing the shape of your smile,

I’m a dove, but I beg, don’t set me free-

Travel with me in this emerald isle-

Is the glint in your eyes relating lies,

Or should we audition to play the leads,

In this scene where the divine prophetize-

I beseech you, please see how the script bleeds-

For our souls were no strangers when we met,

Bound in the hidden- Amun, Amunet.
